Medical Card Holders
Medical card holders are entitled to a free eye test and spectacles every 2 years.
We carry out a thorough eye examination and assess if glasses are needed. If needed, those with a medical card are entitled to a free pair from a certain range of frames or may use their entitlement of €41.98 towards of other frames that they may prefer.
To have an eyetest through your medical card, you need to get prior authorisation from the HSE. Contact us and we will process this for you.
